Facebook fanbox wordpress plugin

It’s just a simple fanbox widget as wordpress plugin, nothing to explain. But I made my own version ?

iframe method
auto detect ie(internet explorer), because sometimes it’s make problem for ie and option to use as iframe only for ie !
jquery based document ready facebook load ! Not clear ? see bellow

One thing to note that I used a way to load the facebook js script after loading jquery as normally in wordpress site front end we use jquery and many plugin uses this… so we can take that jquery is using default. So I loaded the fb js using wp_enqueue function and then called the fb init function after the document is loaded using jquery dom ready function 😛 … It’s just an experiment about slow loading of facebook fanbox widget in wordpress 😀

জুমলাতে নেটিভ টুলটিপ এর ব্যবহার

অনেক দিন বাংলায় ব্লগ বা টিপ্স কিছু লেখা হয় না। আজকের বিষয় আমার অনেক গুলো গার্লফ্রেন্ড এর ভেতর অন্যতম “জুমলা”। যদিও আজকের লেখাটা জুমলার একটি গোপন সুন্দর দিক নিয়ে আর তা হলো জুমলা ১.৫ এর নেটিভ টুলটিপ।

এডমিন প্যানেলে কোন কিছু কনফিগারেশনে ঢুকলে বা অনেক সময় কোন লিঙ্কএ মাউস হোভার করলে উপরের মতো টুলটিপ দেখায়। একই রকম টুপটিপ চাইলে আমরা ফ্রন্ট এন্ড এ ব্যবহার করতে পারি আর তার জন্য এক্টিভ টেমপ্লেটে দরকার সামান্য পরিবর্তন, সেই পরিবর্তন কিভাবে করা যায় তা নিয়েই আজকের আলোচনা। পরের ছবিটি ফ্রন্ট এন্ড এর।

কিভাবে ফ্রন্ট এন্ডে টুলটিপ ফিচার যুক্ত করবেনঃ

দেওয়াল

একটা উচু দেওয়ালের সামনে প্রতিদিনই দাঁড়ায় আর
ভাবি এই দেওয়ালটার তৈরি না হলে কি খুব ক্ষতি হতো ?

মাঝে মাঝে ভাবি দেওয়ালটি জবরদস্তি করে ভেঙ্গে ফেলি কিংবা
এতো দূরে পালিয়ে যায় যেখান থেকে আমি চাইলেও এই দেওয়ালের কাছে আসতে পারবো না … হে হে

ধরে নিলাম, আমি দেওয়াল ভেঙ্গে ফেলেছি কিন্তু
এইযে এতো বছর ধরে মনের ভেতর আর এক বিশাল দেওয়াল তৈরি হয়েছি সেটার কি হবে ?

ভাবছো আমি নিরাশাবাদী … হে হে না ঠিক তেমনটি নয়, আমি জানি আমি একদিন এই মনের দেওয়ালও ভেঙে ফেলবো, তারপর ?
দেওয়ালের ওপাশে যা আশা করেছিলাম তা থাকবেতো, নাকি সবই ফাঁকি।।

ভাবছি দেওয়ালের প্রতিপালককে ধমক দিয়ে বলি,
ফাজলামি পাইছো, ইচ্ছা হইলো আর দেওয়াল তুলে মজা দেখো না ?

Using wordpress native thickbox

To know about what is thickbox please check this link. WordPress use this a main popup window or modal view. Thickbox is a jquery plugin and it’s available with wordpress with jquery. So my tips is how to use that in front end , using the thickbox available with it, no need to use externally.

ThickBox is a webpage UI dialog widget written in JavaScript on top of the jQuery library. Its function is to show a single image, multiple images, inline content, iframed content, or content served through AJAX in a hybrid modal.

At first let me tell you where you can get it if u search wordpress directory manually. Just check in wp-includes\js where you will get all the js library and plugins used with wordpress or available for use with plugin and theme. And here is every thing you need for thickbox

how to collect meta tags

I know max ppl are smart enough and can do it easily but some ppl are not mcuh technical and don no how to upload file or add meta tag in theme file and where. so, to get google meta tag key go to Google Webmaster, login using your google id and your site. Fix wp plugin “Post and Page Excerpt Widgets” not to break conditional tag

Post and Page Excerpt Widgets is a nice plugin to show post/page excerpt as as widget in sidebar position. You can download it from wp code from here. One I thing I noticed about this plugin is it has a common bug that I faced many times while using query_posts. When I use this query_posts it’s break some conditional loop like is_home(), is_category() etc but there is another function get_posts in wordpress that does the same thing but don’t have similar problem. Once I discussed about this problem in one of my old posts. Please check that posts for better sense from here is_home-is_single-is_category-is-not-working-in-wp!.

As Post and Page Excerpt Widgets is using the query_posts function for custom query it make’s problem for conditional tags. Let me show u solution and it’s like my that posts.
